Brookhaven Police executed a search warrant Monday afternoon at a residence on Rogers Circle.

Just before 3 p.m. Monday, several Brookhaven Police Department units arrived at 210 Rogers Circle.

One person was detained without incident. Another fled on foot and was pursued by officers.

Police Chief Kenneth Collins said three weapons were recovered at the residence, including one that was identified as stolen.

“This is all a part of our concentrated effort to keep the citizens of Rogers Circle safe,” Collins said. “We’re going to continue to do our best to keep the city safe with what we’ve got. This case is still under investigation.”
