Friday could get frosty, if the forecast stays firm.
Monday, the National Weather Service in Jackson predicted areas of frost in the morning for Friday, Nov. 3, though the day is expected to be sunny with highs in the lower 70s.
A slight chance of rain was forecast for Monday as temperatures dropped into the 50s for the high.
Tuesday through Thursday, the days were expected to be mostly clear and sunny with highs in the upper 50s. Lows are expected to be in the 30s, which means many residents will need to check any exposed water pipes to make sure they are well-insulated.
Lows Friday and Saturday are expected to be slightly warmer, in the lower to upper 40s, with highs in the 70s both days.
Tuesday’s clear skies will be welcomed weather for trick-or-treating, though winds of 15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph may play mild havoc with some decorations and costumes.
