Published 12:00 pm Saturday, November 4, 2023

The 2023 Junior Ambassadors will soon begin their duties as the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce marks the beginning of the Christmas season.

JAs serve as ambassadors to the business community, and must be ninth-grade students who live in Lincoln County.

Participating businesses across Brookhaven and the county will be open Saturday, Nov. 11, for the annual Christmas Open House. Junior Ambassadors will serve as hostesses at the businesses, matched alphabetically. They will also assist Santa Claus with candy distribution in the Brookhaven Christmas Parade, Thursday, Nov. 30. More community service hours will be available for JAs during the spring semester.
