A Natchez woman has died as the result of an early morning wreck Wednesday in Franklin County.

At approximately 2:22 a.m. Nov. 29, the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a one-vehicle crash on Hwy. 84, according to Cpl. Craig James.

A 2019 Honda Accord, driven by 33-year-old Brittany Davis of Natchez, was traveling west on Hwy. 84 when it left the roadway and collided with a tree. Davis suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by MHP.
