Brookhaven Police officers have arrested a suspect in a Sunday night robbery on Brookway Boulevard.

At approximately 10 p.m., a black male suspect wielding a knife robbed Domino’s Pizza inside the Marathon gas station at 975 Brookway Blvd, according to Police Chief Kenneth Collins. Police officers and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded.

The suspect was identified as Kenneth Harris Jr., 923 Williams St., Brookhaven.

On Monday, Collins asked family members and friends of Harris to encourage him to turn himself in.

Harris was arrested Monday afternoon and booked into the Lincoln County Jail on charges of armed robbery, misdemeanor taking of a motor vehicle, simple assault by menace or fear, and contempt of court.
