KDMC names new chief administrative officer

King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven has announced a new Chief Administrative Officer. Amy Lampton Walker has been named to the position.
Walker, a native of Magnolia, is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (CFNP).
“Ms. Walker brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to healthcare experience,” said Melissa Leggett, KDMC Director of Marketing and Community Relations. “She possesses a unique perspective that aligns with KDMC’s patient-centric approach to healthcare.
With a background in nursing and healthcare administration, Walker has demonstrated outstanding leadership and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care, Leggett said. Her extensive experience includes an exceptional track record leading a wide range of medical center and health system operations.
“I am honored to join an excellent team at King’s Daughters Medical Center and contribute to the continued success of this esteemed organization,” said Walker. “I am excited to work collaboratively with the dedicated staff and leadership to enhance the patient experience and advance the mission of ‘Always Providing Quality Health & Wellness in a Christian Environment.’”
In her role as CAO, Walker will serve a variety of areas, including many ancillary functions, quality, and compliance, and will provide additional oversight and guidance on many clinical aspects of providing the best care for KDMC’s patients.
