A pool house on Perkins Drive was gutted by fire before sunrise Tuesday.

Brookhaven Fire Department Chief Jeff Ainsworth said the call came in at 5:49 a.m. and units responded to 405 Perkins Drive. Everything inside the house was destroyed, but no one was inside the building at the time, and no injuries were sustained.

Firefighters had the blaze extinguished and were able to leave the scene around 7:15 a.m.
