Brookhaven Academy alum and current Copiah-Lincoln Community College outfielder Madison Moak had a big week at the plate for the 20-2 CLCC softball team last week. Posting a .619 batting average at the plate in a 6-0 week for the Wolves, Moak was rewarded for her work by being named the MACCC Player of the Week on Tuesday.

A University of Southern Mississippi signee, Moak is a returning starter from NJCAA National Championship team in Wesson and her play has helped the team rise to no. 2 in the latest NJCAA National Poll. Last week, Moak scored eight runs, drove in four runs and belted two home runs, including the go ahead homer in a comeback win at Jones College.

Co-Lin will host East Central on Wednesday beginning at 4 p.m. and will also host Mississippi Delta CC on Friday with first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m.
