A multiple-vehicle wreck on Interstate 55 in Lincoln County Wednesday remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

At approximately 5:15 p.m., Troopers and other emergency personnel were called to Bogue Chitto exit 30. Three vehicles had collided in the southbound lanes.

Injuries were reported and emergency crews worked at the scene until after midnight.

MHP Cpl. Craig James of Troop M said the crash remains under investigation, and no other information is available for release at this time.
