The individual was transported to Jackson for an autopsy and an attempt at identification.

“If anyone has a family member or friend AND have not seen or been in communication with that person over the last few weeks, please go through the sheriff’s office or police department of that jurisdiction and file a missing persons report, as we do not have any filed here over the course of the last few weeks. I know everyone wants more information, however, we are early in the stages of the investigation and have no further details. I will try to keep everyone updated when possible. Thank you to each and every agency that assisted with this recovery,” said Sheriff Ryan Everett.
