The Ole Brook Wind Symphony will soon present its spring concerts.
The performances will be Tuesday, April 23, 7 p.m. at Easthaven Baptist Church in Brookhaven, and Tuesday, April 30, 7 p.m. at the Palace Theater, 111 Main St. in McComb.
The April 30 performance was originally scheduled for State Street Theater in McComb. That venue is undergoing renovations that are not expected to be complete by that date.
The free concert will last just over an hour. Donations will be accepted.
“The concert in Brookhaven would be a great time for those who haven’t seen the Haven Cross yet to kill two birds with one stone,” said Symphony member Steve Edge.
Leroy Smith of McComb is the primary director for these concerts. Stanley Stewart of Wesson will lead several of the numbers.
The concert will feature performances of several popular symphony tunes, including: “Emblem of Unity March,” “Holiday for Trombones,” “Teach Me Tonight,” Michael Buble’s “Home,” and Sousa’s “The Thunderer.”
