A Brookhaven man was shot Sunday morning in an incident on East Monticello Street.

Police Chief Kenneth Collins said Danterrius Combs, approximately 20 years old, was shot around 10:20 a.m. at an unspecified location. Combs was treated at King’s Daughters Medical Center and released.

“This matter is under investigation,” Collins said.
