Proudly announcing Mt Wade Missionary Baptist Church nestled at 749 North Jackson Street has been honored with the prestigious recognition as Yard of the Month for May. Under the steadfast leadership of Dr. Phillip R. Hamilton Sr., the church community endeavors to maintain not only a spiritual haven but also a visually appealing environment for all who grace their grounds. 

This achievement would not have been possible without the diligent efforts of their dedicated team. Robert and Sherry Merchant tirelessly tend to their gardens, ensuring that every corner of their landscape exudes beauty and tranquility. In addition to Deacon Andrew and Betty Spiller have played instrumental roles in cultivating the vibrant array of flowers that adorn the church grounds. Their commitment to nurturing these blooms is truly commendable. 

Also acknowledging their grandsons Toney Bussey and Connor Kees for their invaluable contribu-tions. Their eagerness to learn and willingness to lend a hand have been integral to the success of their gardening endeavors. 

Mt. Wade believes that a well-tended environment not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of their surroundings but also fosters a sense of community pride and belonging. Mt Wade is deeply honored to receive this recognition and remains committed to upholding the beauty of their cherished church grounds.
