Lindy Callahan student athletes honored

The MHSAA recently honored 16 seniors from around the state as 2024 Lindy Callahan scholarship recipients for 2024.
Launched in 1996 to honor longtime Gulfport High athletic director and coach Lindy Callahan, the award goes out to one boy and one girl student athlete from the eight geographical districts within the MHSAA. Each of the 16 honorees receives a $1,500 college scholarship.
Selected from District VII were Taylor Jackson of Bogue Chitto and Bryce Smith of Brookhaven High.
