Prediabetes is a serious health condition where blood sugar levels are higher than normal, but not yet high enough to be diagnosed as Type 2 diabetes.

Getting diagnosed with prediabetes can give a person enough time to make positive lifestyle and diet changes to change the outcome. Early detection can save a life and improve quality of life.

The free screenings at the Health Fair will check blood glucose levels and let people know their risks. Early interventions can prevent or delay the onset of diabetes.
