National Guard soldiers are helping hands at Camp Kamassa

Approximately 100 members of the Army National Guard spent the week at Camp Kamassa in Copiah County as part of the Department of Defense Innovative Readiness Training program, working on structures, landscapes and roadways. Thursday evening, the VFW 2618 Auxiliary in Brookhaven and the Brookhaven Exchange Club joined the camp in expressing thanks to the soldiers by providing a meal and rides at the Exchange Club Park.
