NATCHEZ – The Lincoln County Americans survived Saturday night to shave off elimination as they knocked off the Natchez All-Star 11-8 to advance to Monday contest in the Dixie Youth Baseball AA All-Star 7-year-old District Six Tournament at Duncan Park.

In Monday action, The Lincoln County Americans lost to the McComb Nationals 23-2. The Walthall County All-Stars beat McComb Americans 18-16.

Tournament action continues tonight, The Lincoln County Americans will take on the McComb Americans for third place. Game time is at 6 p.m. The Walthall County All-Stars battle the McComb Nationals for the championship at 8 p.m.

The top three teams will advance to the Dixie Youth State competition in Laurel, which starts July 4.
