WESSON – The 2014 Copiah-Lincoln soccer schedule has been released and features nine home matches for head coach David Strother and his teams.

The first match will take place on Aug. 22 when the Wolves host Northwest for a women’s tilt beginning at 4 p.m. followed by the men at 6:30. Match times for every home contest will be 4/6:30 p.m. excluding the Oct. 10 contest versus Meridian. The Oct. 10 contests will be played at 2 and 4:30 p.m. with the men playing first and the women following.

Strother, who serves as the head women’s and men’s coach at Co-Lin, has had a busy spring signing a group of freshmen to join his returning players on the 2014 squads.

Women’s freshmen signees include Destiny Allen (West Lincoln), Ashley Boler (D’Iberville), Amber Harris (St. Martin), Kerry Hayes (Moss Point), Victoria Jackson (Moss Point), Christina Knott (Murrah), Si’Edriq Middleton (Franklin County), and Taylor Moak (Franklin County).

Men’s freshmen signees include Ezequiel Alvarez (Forest), Aaron Gutierrez (Forest), Bailey Hart (Pearl), Hoby Mullins (Franklin County), Zayne Mullins (Franklin County), Montie Smith (Pascagoula), and Juan Zavala (Terry).
