JACKSON – The Brookhaven Lady Cougars captured a big 8-1 win over Jackson Victors Thursday night in MAIS softball action.

“The girls played great,” BA coach Becky Flowers. “We hit the ball really well and also pitched the ball really well. Our defense did a great job stepping up and bailed us out of some tough jams when Victors had the bases loaded.”
