Ole Brook boys golf defeated Loyd Star and West Lincoln at a match Monday, which was held at Brookhaven Country Club.

“I am proud of how we played,” said BHS coach Ben Huey. “The conditions were wet and the course played longer than usual, but we have been working on our short game, which is starting to show.”

In boys action, Alford Driskell paced the Panthers with a 4 over par 39.

Brookhaven won the match with a team score of 171 followed by Loyd Star with a 198 and West Lincoln with a 204.

In girls action, Loyd Star secures the victory by barely edging West Lincoln with the score of 105 to 106.

Brookhaven’s Olivia Ross was the girls medalist with a 2 over par 37.

West Lincoln golf team is coached by Jeff King and Loyd Star’s golf team is coach by Chris King.
