The Diva Girls out of Liberty captured the Dr. Lott Softball City League Championship Thursday night with a 18-6 victory over the Lilly Hill Stickz on Dr. Lott Field.

In semifinal action, the Lilly Hill Stickz eliminated the Blessins Detail softball team 11-9 to advance to the championship contest.

Yasmine Faust powered the Diva Girls’ offense at the plate with a triple, a double and a single. Toniya Ellis contributed a triple and a single. Trinity Huff, Deysha Parson and Laterrica Wells provided a double and a single each. Shanquanietha Cain belted three singles. Zakeria LaCour and Olivia Porter added two singles each. Shamilliyon Boss had a single.

Xaalah Sandifer and Admire Sandifer directed the Lilly Hill Stickz offense with a double and a single each. T’Keyah Catchings ripped a pair of singles. Jamiria Sorrell provided a double. Natiya Hayes, Xavier Burrell and Shamierea Walker hit safely.

Lilly Hill Stickz 11, Blessins Detail 9 

Jamiria Sorrell, Shamirrea Walker, Zavier Burrell and T’Keya Catching were the top hitters on the Lilly Hill Stickz offense with a double each. Hitting safely was Adrianna Catchings, Admire Sandifer, Natita Hayes and Cierria Catchings.

Shantraille Haynes and Bryannah Haynes paced the Blessins Detail at the plate with a double and a single apiece. Ta’Maria Townsend contributed two singles. La’Zandra Jenkins, Makayla Mitchell and Andria Tillman provided a double each. Titianna Kelly, Deola Ayedun, Haile Lockwood, Cala Eley and Vivianah Lockwood hit safely.
