Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Jerry Leggett, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto. Riverwood Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be from 1 until 3 p.m at the church.

Mr. Leggett, 78, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, in Jackson. He was born Dec. 22, 1937, to T.J. and Katherine Mildred Leggett.

He was retired from the clothing apparel and insurance businesses and was a member of First Baptist Church in Brookhaven. He was a graduate of the with a bachelor’s degree in biology and geology and loved going to USM football games with family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and wife, Beverly Jane Evans Leggett.

Survivors are his daughters; Renee Ravenhorst, Susan Baskin, and Tomma Petrus; husband Eric; and eight grandchildren; Alex Ravenhorst, Julia Welch and husband Jeremiah, Sophie Baskin, Chloe Rensenhouse and husband Sam, Olivia Petrus, Isabel Petrus, Nathan Petrus, and Will Petrus.
