Funeral services for Edward Daniel Thompson, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Alexander Junior High School in Brookhaven with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Thompson, 70, died Sunday, July 23, 2017, the VA Medical Center in Jackson. He was born March 16, 1947, to Wiley Thompson and Rosie Lee Johnson Harrison. He graduated from Alexander High School in 1966. He was a self-employed mechanic and a veteran of the U.S Army.
