She was a member of Union Hall Baptist Church where she was pianist for over 60 years. She won the Golden Deeds Award and a first place Daily Leader Wooden Spoon and winner in other categories. She was known as “Aunt” Margaret to so many and became quick friends to all she met. Many hearts are sharing one sorrow in the loss of someone whose generous spirit touched so many lives in ways that will always be treasured. She and her husband enjoyed many years of fishing together, loved swimming and spending vacations and family times with her cherished grandsons, known for making chicken pies and egg custards for church and shut-ins.
