Funeral services for Edna Merle Entrican May, of Brookhaven, will be Friday, July 6, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) with burial to follow in the Easthaven Cemetery. Bro. Anthony Yarborough will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, July 6, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. May, 85, died Monday, July 2, 2018, at her residence. She was born Oct. 17, 1932, in Lincoln County, to Albert Byron and Emma Estelle Falvey Entrican. She was a member of Pearlhaven Baptist Church; worked as a cashier for Super D; and enjoyed traveling, reading, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, William Earl May; infant son, Gregory Thomas May; grandson, Michael Chad May; sisters, Elizabeth Ann Morgan and Bonnie Storm; and brother, Albert Entrican.

Survivors are her children, William “Billy” May and wife Glenda of Wesson; Jerry May and wife Donnette of Arley, Alabama; Johnnie May Nevels and husband Dwayne of Brookhaven; Jack May of Brookhaven; and Donald May and wife Cheryl of Brookhaven; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren with two on the way; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Todd May, “D.C.” Nevels Jr., Allen May, Greg May, Trent May and Dwayne Nevels Sr.

Donations in Mrs. May’s name may be made to Pearlhaven Baptist Church.
