Saturday at approximately 6:40 p.m., Mississippi Highway Patrol Troopers responded to a fatal crash on Hwy. 51 South involving a pedestrian.
A 2015 Chrysler 200 driven by Sundae Montague, 42, was traveling south on Hwy. 51 in Pike County when the vehicle collided with Clinton Rosa, 29, who was standing on the highway, according to Troop M Public Affairs Officer Cpl. Craig James.. Rosa received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Both women are from Magnolia.
The crash remains under investigation by MHP.
