Services for Glen Buie of Brookhaven are 1:30 p.m., Thursday,July 8, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Brookhaven with burial inthe church cemetery. Wells and Wells Funeral Home in Woodville isin charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 5 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary with family hour from 11 a.m. to noon.

Mr. Buie, 40, died July 2, 2004, at University Medical Center inJackson. He was born in Brookhaven on June 9, 1964, to Henry Buieand Mary Buie.

He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his father and one brother.

Survivors are his mother; his wife, Rosie Buie; his children,Daysha Newsome, Shamekia Stone, Prince Buie and Glen Eugene Buie,of Brookhaven; his sisters, Mary Barnes, of Jackson, and AshleyBuie of Brookhaven; and three brothers, Charles and MelvinWashington of Union Church, and John Buie of Bogue Chitto.

Bertie W. Patt

Services for Bertie W. Patt of McCall Creek are 2 p.m.,Thursday, July 8, at Ramah Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery. Harrigill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 4-9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Patt, 69, died July 5, 2004, at her residence. She was bornin Franklin County on Dec. 21, 1934, to Bill Wilson and BessieWilson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ramah BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Ebbie PattJr.; her son, Ebbie Keith White; one sister; and one brother.

Survivors are her daughter, Connie Lambert of McCall Creek; onesister, Audrey Murkey of Meadville; five grandchildren; and threegreat-grandchildren.
