Services for Marjorie Walker Yates, of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m.Thursday, Feb. 10 at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inRiverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is today from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Yates, 80, died Feb. 7, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in York, Ala., on March 23, 1924, to HowardWalker and Maude McDonald Walker.

She was a retired bookkeeper for Dr. Jewell Breeland. She was amember of First Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, Scott Yates;and her two sisters, Kathleen Walker and Geneva Lamont.

Survivors are her husband, Earl Yates, of Brookhaven; herdaughter, Pat Bowton, of Brookhaven; her son, Rusty Yates, ofBrookhaven; her brother, H.O. Walker, of Abilene, Texas; twogranddaughters, Sheri Thibodeaux and Sandy Barker, both ofBrookhaven; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Parkinson Foundation.
