Funeral services for Catherine WalkerPowell, of Monticello, were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13,at Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello, with burial in the churchcemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Visitation was held Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at Bethel BaptistChurch.

    Mrs. Powell, 89, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at her residence.
