Wayne Ray “Peanut” Havard Sr. died June 26, 2007, at SouthwestMississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb. He was born inNatchez on May 3, 1938, to William W. Havard and Eva Mae GravesHavard.

He was retired from Armstrong Tire Co. He was a hunter andcattleman.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Gale Pansano Havard, of Roxie; his son,Wayne Havard Jr. and wife Nikki, of Natchez; his daughter, RobinMcKinley and husband Randy, of Natchez; his stepson, Jimmy Trindleand wife Debby, of San Marcus, Texas; his brothers, James W. Havardand wife Betty, of Hattiesburg, Willie O. Havard and wife Jo, ofRoxie, and Hilton Havard and wife Dee, of Natchez; his sisters,Ruth Shiers and husband Chester, of Natchez, and Barbara Corkernand Betty Smith, both of Wesson; his stepbrother, Hershel Humes, ofKingston; and his stepsister, Dolly Humes, of Natchez; his fivegrandchildren and one great-grandchild; and his beloved dog,Cricket.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
