A private memorial service for Sylvia Noble Bentz, of Houston,will be held in the spring of 2006. Lifelong friends should expectnotification of the date at that time.

Mrs. Bentz, 74, died Aug. 21, 2005. She was born in Brookhavenon March 5, 1931.

She was retired business owner. She graduated from BrookhavenHigh School in 1949 and later attended college at Mississippi StateCollege for Women.

In 1952 she married A. William Bentz, also of Brookhaven. Sherelocated to Houston with him in 1955. In 1978 she establishedGreenspoint Personnel Service, which she operated for the followingseven years. Later she continued a successful career in thepersonnel business until her retirement.

Survivors are her husband of 53 years, A. William Bentz, ofHouston; her sons, David, Don and Andy Bentz, all of Austin, Texas;three grandsons, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter, allof Austin; her sister, Edna Lovitt, of Brookhaven; and her brother,James F. Noble Jr., of Brookhaven.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
