Funeral services for Carroll Richard Douglas, of Brookhaven,were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at Easthaven BaptistChurch, with burial in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in LawrenceCounty. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive was in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Douglas, 65, died Nov. 6, 2010, at University of MississippiMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Lincoln County on June29, 1945, to Jimmy Douglas and Ollie Smith Douglas.

He was a member of Easthaven Baptist Church, where he served as adeacon. He was a sales clerk at Perkins Hardware.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers WilliamDouglas and Robert Douglas; and his sister, Dora NellHampton.

Survivors are his wife, Marilyn Smith Douglas; his sons, RickDouglas and wife Chris, and Tracey Douglas and wife Julie; and hisgrandchildren, Jack, Sarah, Connor, Drew and Grant Douglas.
