Graveside services for Bess Thomas, of Meadville, are 1 p.m.Monday, Feb. 22, at Midway Cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.

Mrs. Thomas, 100, died Feb. 19, 2010, at Meadville Nursing Home.She was born in Lawrence County on Aug. 24, 1909, to George Turnageand Annie Elizabeth Wilson.

She was a retired beautician. She was a member of Meadville BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, GortieThomas; and several siblings.

She is survived by several nephews.
