Services for Pearl Green of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. Thursday atSt. Mark Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Rosehill CityCemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1-7 p.m. with a family hour from6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Green, 80, died Oct. 8, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Meridian on May 12, 1925, to the late CliffMcNickles and Fannie McNickles.

She was disabled. She was a member of St. Mark M.B. Church. Shewas a graduate of Meridian High School and received an associate ofarts degree from Tougaloo College.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, CliffMcNickles Jr. and Marvin McNickles; four sisters, Mackey Jordan,Mary Ida Pickett, Bertha Brown and Irene Collins; and a grandson,Walter J. Smith.

Survivors are her husband, the Rev. Johnny Green of Brookhaven;her sons, Johnny Green Jr. of Hattiesburg and Earl V. Green ofJackson; her daughters, Shirley Smith and Barbara Johnson, both ofTylertown; her brother, John M. McNickles of Worchester, Mass.;five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relativesand friends.

Michael Teague Herring

Services for Michael Teague Herring of Meadville are 11 a.m.Wednesday at Meadville United Methodist Church with burial inMidway Cemetery. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Herring, 50, died Oct. 10, 2005, at his residence. He wasborn in Franklin County on Dec. 2, 1954, to the late CliffordGraham Herring and Eugenie Teague Herring.

He was a member of Meadville United Methodist Church.

Survivors are his brothers, Edward Graham Herring of Meadvilleand Steven Scott Herring of Tennessee; and his sisters, MaryRebecca Susel of Baton Rouge, La., and Marsha “Cookie” Stroud ofSmithdale.

Donald E. Mullins

Memorial services for Donald E. Mullins of Clinton were 3 p.m.Monday at Lakewood Funeral Home of Clinton.

Mr. Mullins, 73, died Oct. 9, 2005, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center after a three-month battle with cancer. He was bornin Deming, N.M., on Nov. 8, 1931, to the late Donald Alfred andLois Kathryn Mullen.

He was a 1949 graduate of El Paso High School in El Paso, Texas,and served in the Navy from 1951 through 1955 as a fire controltechnician.

He received a bachelor of law degree from Jackson School of Lawin 1958 before completing a bachelor of science degree in physicsat Mississippi College in 1961. He practiced law for several yearsbefore he joined NASA. He retired after a 20-year career with NASAas part of the senior management team and program director for allof the manned space flight missions, including the Apollo, thefirst manned lunar landing; Skylab, Apollo-Soyuz, and the spaceshuttle missions.

Survivors are his wife of 45 years, Margaret Mullen of Clinton;his son, Mark Mullen and his wife Patty of Decatur, Ala.; hisdaughter, Jessica Mullen of Nashville, Tenn.; his grandchildren;and a host of relatives and friends.
