Services for former Lincoln County Supervisor Robert Lee Smithof Wesson are 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Macedonia BaptistChurch with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-10 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mr. Smith, 80, died Sept. 23, 2001, at his residence. He wasborn in Lincoln County on July 3, 1921, to Hamlin Smith and MamieNorton Smith.

He was supervisor for Lincoln County District Five from 1996-99.He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was an Army veteranof WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Ola PearlSmith; twin stillborn sons; his granddaughter, Sonya Smith; and hisbrother, Holon Smith.

Survivors are his sons, Bobby Mitchell Smith and Carroll BruceSmith, both of Wesson; his daughter, Cathy Tisdale of Petal; hisbrothers, Colon Smith and Leroy Smith, both of Brookhaven; hissisters, Mamie Irene Smith, Wessie Smith, and Nellie Jackson, allof Brookhaven, and Rowena Maxwell of Baton Rouge; hissister-in-law, Jane Sanders of Pineville, La.; and 15 grandchildrenand 23 great-grandchildren.
