Services for Ramona Covington Case, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, April 23 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in New Sight Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Case, 57, died of cancer, April 21, 2005, at King’sDaughters Medical Center. She was born in Brookhaven on June 14,1947, to J.C. Covington and Lexie Wilkinson Covington.

She was a senior business representative for Entex Gas for 37years. She was a graduate of Brookhaven High School andCopiah-Lincoln Community College. She was a member of New SightBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Survivors are her mother; her husband, Jerry Nelson Case, ofBrookhaven; her sons, Shawn Case and Rhett Case, both ofBrookhaven; her sister, Cynthia Smith, of Brookhaven; her brothers,Mark Covington and Prine Covington, both of Brookhaven; and agrandson, Connor Case, of Brookhaven.

Thelma Freeman-Johnson

Services for Thelma Freeman-Johnson, of Wesson, are 11 a.m.Saturday, April 23 at St. Paul M.B. Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at HazlehurstFuneral Home.

Mrs. Freeman-Johnson, 56, died April 17, 2005, at HospiceMinistries in Ridgeland. She was born in Jefferson County on Oct.30, 1948, to Willie Freeman and Mary Lou Kelly Freeman.

She was disabled.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, J.B. Johnson Jr.; her daughter,Janice M. Johnson Smith and her husband, Raymond, of Columbus,Ohio; her son, Gerry P. Johnson and his wife, Parsha, of Germany;her sister, Mary Lee Mack and her husband, Melvin, of Los Angeles;her brothers, Jonah Freeman and his wife, Joann, and John C.Freeman Sr. and his wife, Josephine, all of Caseyville; threegrandchildren; one stepgrandson; five sisters-in-law; twobrothers-in-law; two uncles, one aunt; several nieces, nephews,cousins, other relatives and friends.

Alice Faye Jones

Services for Alice Faye Jones, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, April 23 at Cool Springs M.B. Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is today from noon until 8 p.m., with family hourfrom 7-8 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Jones, 55, died April 20, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn in Silver Creek on April 6, 1950, to J.C. Hartwell and LinnellHartwell.

She was disabled. She was a graduate of Eva Harris High Schooland attended Prentiss Junior College. She was a member of CoolSprings M.B. Church, where she was a member of the choir and waschurch secretary.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and two brothers,Robert Hartwell and Willie Hartwell.

Survivors are her husband, Mike Jones Jr., of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Felicia L. Jones, of Brookhaven, and Stephanie Jones, ofYong San, Korea; her son, Michael Jones and his wife, Kimberly, ofFort Polk, La.; her sisters, Verlena Williams, of Dallas, LorettaWilliams, and her husband Priestley, of South Holland, Ill., BettieHartwell, of Biloxi, and Louvella Hartwell, of Brookhaven; herbrothers, Leon Hartwell and his wife, Marilyn, of Grand Chains,Ill., Jesse Hartwell, of Marion, Ill., and Zebedee Hartwell and hiswife, Janice, of Brookhaven; eight grandchildren; and many nieces,nephews and other relatives.

Linda Louise ‘Pee Wee’ Jones Moore

Services for Linda Louise “Pee Wee” Jones Moore, of Bude, are 2p.m. Saturday, April 23 at New Bethel Baptist Church in Monroe,with burial in St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery inQuentin.

Visitation is today from 1-5 p.m., with a wake from 6-7 p.m. atMarshall Funeral Home in Bude and Saturday from noon until 2 p.m.at the church.

Mrs. Moore, 54, died April 19, 2005, at Franklin MemorialHospital in Meadville. She was born in Quentin on Aug. 3, 1950, toCornelius “Neal” Jones and Ida Mae Byrd Jones.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, MorrisNelson; one child, Jacqueline Faye Nelson; four sisters, LessieMae, Earnestine, Berniece and Ruby; two brothers, Willie and ThomasEarl Jones; two sisters-in-law, Mary and Ruth Jones; twobrothers-in-law, Leroy Johnson Sr. and Calvin Robinson; and onenephew, Alfonso Jones.

Survivors are her three daughters, Marilyn Nelson, LaKeishaLittleton and Vanessa Moore, all of Bude; three sons, David Nelson,of Fayette, Billy Nelson, of Birmingham, Ala., and Otis Moore Jr.,of Bude; three sisters, Emma Johnson, Shirley Campbell and AlbertaRobinson, all of Indianapolis, Ind.; three brothers, Harry Jones,of Indianapolis, Neal Jones Jr., of Kirby and Henry Jones, of Bude;11 grandchildren; one special friend; and a host of nieces,nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
