Services for Allie Jenkins Buie of Roxie are 2 p.m., Thursday,July 24, at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon – 5 p.m., at WilliamsMortuary, and Wednesday from 7-8 p.m., at the church.

Mrs. Buie, 66, died July 18, 2003, at Franklin County Hospital.She was born in Franklin County on Jan. 11, 1937, to Frank Jenkinsand Beatrice Jenkins.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Springhill MissionaryBaptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, John CalvinBuie; and four brothers, Ornsby Jenkins, Frank Jenkins, HenryJenkins and William Dunbar.

Survivors are her husband, Perlie Buie of Roxie; her daughters,Brenda Buie of Pascagoula, Elaine Hunt of Kirby, and Shelia Seedenof Liberty; her sons, the Rev. Danny L. Jenkins of Urbana, Ill.,the Rev. Larry Jenkins of Columbia, Perlie Wayne Buie, Cleo Buieand Orran Levon Buie, all of Roxie, and William Carl Buie ofPascagoula; her sisters, Carrie Jenkins and Lelia Mae Cameron, bothof Roxie, and Lizzie Nelson of Amite, La.; her brothers, MarshallJenkins of Fayette, and Johnny Jenkins of Roxie; 23 grandchildren;4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
