Tommy C. Kyzar

Services for Tommy C. Kyzar, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Tuesday,July 24, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with burial inthe church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Kyzar, 46, died July 19, 2007, in Marion County. He was bornon Aug. 17, 1960, to James Robert Kyzar and Betty Sibley Kyzar.

He was a foreman for Lincoln County District 1. He was a memberof Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, the Fair River MasonicLodge No. 203, Eastern Star Topisaw Chapter No. 326, and WahabiTemple Shriners, of Jackson.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, J.C. and DelmaSibley, formerly of Columbia, and Hezzie Kyzar, formerly ofBrookhaven.

Survivors are his parents; his brothers, Robert Wendell Kyzarand wife Regina, John Timothy Kyzar, David Kendall Kyzar and GlennKyzar and wife Sherry, all of Brookhaven; his nieces, Tina KyzarCox, her husband, Craig, and their son, Cade, of Natchez, HeatherMartin and husband, Roger, of Brookhaven; his nephews, Bryon Kyzar,of Natchez, Justin and Jason Kyzar, and Chris Hughes and wifeChristi, all of Brookhaven; and a host of cousins.

Norman L. Smith

Services for Norman L. Smith, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m.Monday, July 23, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Smith, 93, died July 19, 2007, at Countrybrook Living Centerof natural causes. He was born on Dec. 2, 1913, to Oakley Smith andMaggie Watson.

He was a retired welding supervisor with Jacobsen LawnmowerPlant. He was a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Dortha B.Smith; six brothers; and one sister.

Survivors are his son, Robert L. “Bobbie” Smith, of Oklahoma;three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Burnita Smith Thetford

Services for Burnita Smith Thetford, of Bogue Chitto, are 10a.m. Monday, July 23, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Lakewood Memorial Park in Clinton at 3 p.m.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Thetford, 84, died July 20, 2007, at her residence. She wasborn on July 2, 1923, to Ernest Jasper West and Mary EttaBailess.

She was a retired accountant with Mississippi School Supply. Shewas a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death was her first husband, Clyde B. Smith;her infant son, Clyde West Smith; her parents; two sisters,Ernestine W. Gilliam and Velma W. Bankston; and three brothers,Johnnie Claud West, Carden West and Clyde Correll West.

Survivors are her spouse, Wendell Thetford, of Bogue Chitto; herstepson, Wayne Thetford; her stepdaughter, Debbie Foster; herbrother, Marion Delma West, of Hazlehurst; and 14 nieces andnephews.
