The host Enterprise Lady Yellow Jackets hammered the Dexter LadyBulldogs 14-0 Thursday night in 3 1/2 innings of slowpitch softballaction.

The win improved Enterprise’s record to 8-7 on the season and2-1 in district play.

Nicole Sandifer (8-7) was the winning pitcher, fanning fourbatters and walking one.

Powering the Lady Jackets at the plate were Samantha Richardsonand Lindsey Everett with a triple and a single apiece. Tripling wasErika Rutland. Following with a single were Sarah Burke, AshleyGreer, Katie Hux, Amanda Burke and Sandifer.

Enterprise, coached by Steve Sasser, led 5-0 in the first inningand added nine more runs in the third for the lopsided victory.

Junior varsity play

Enterprise (9-0) ripped Dexter 11-1 in the JV matchup.

Laken Rawls led the Lady Jackets with an inside-the-park homerun and a pair of singles. Sarah Burke also hit an ITP homer and adouble. Winning pitcher Lacy Orr singled twice. Doubling wasRichardson. Hannah Russell, Amy Lambert, Kasey Mathas and KaitlynMoak singled.
