Services for J. Odell Anders of Natchez were 11 a.m., Tuesday,Aug. 1, at Laird Funeral Home with burial in Greenlawn MemorialPark.

Mr. Anders, 76, died July 30, 2000, at Natchez Regional MedicalCenter.

Services for Wilhelmina Gruchy Miller of Magnolia are 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inRose Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday, Aug. 1, from 4-8 p.m. at HarrigillFuneral Home.

Mrs. Miller, 92, died July 31, 2000, of heart failure at herresidence. She was born in Guatemala City, Central America, onMarch 27, 1908, to John James Gruchy and Alejandra LopezGruchy.

She was a retired teacher, having taught at New Sight, Heuck’sRetreat and Nola Schools. She was a member of Faith PresbyterianChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, WalterPaxton Miller.

Survivors are her sons, Walter Philip Miller of Jackson andJames Daniel Miller of Magnolia; her brothers, David F. Gruchy ofGolden, Colo., and Daniel J. Gruchy of Centralia, Ill.; and fourgrandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
