Confusion among supervisors over a portion of the ongoingrestoration of the Boys and Girls Club of Lincoln County buildinghas been cleared up.

>After meeting with project architect Barranco Architects ofJackson and contractor Scarbrough Construction of Roxie, thesupervisors Monday approved an $18,001 change order request for theinstallation of a new air conditioner, the required accompanyingelectrical work and the replacing of a structural wall.

In a previous board meeting, the supervisors withheld theirapproval of the change order. The board was unclear on thespecifications of the change order, believing the price was toohigh for an air conditioner installation. The board brieflyconsidered separating the air conditioning work into a new projectand advertising for bids.
