Services for Tommy Glenn Kirkland, of Monticello, were 2 p.m.Tuesday, April 20, at Monticello Pentecostal Church, with burial inForest Grove Cemetery in Jayess. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticellois in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Kirkland, 53, died April 17, 2010, in Monticello. He was bornin Hattiesburg on April 17, 1957.

He was an auxiliary deputy and correctional officer with theLawrence County Sheriff’s Office. Preceding him in death were hisfather, J.C. Kirkland; and his sister, Martha Kirkland Reid.

Survivors are his wife, Michelle Boyd Kirkland; his mother, BennieLee Lambert Kirkland, of Monticello; his son, Rusty Glenn Parkman,of Monticello; his daughter, Angela Marie and Josh Smith, ofMonticello; his brother, Curtis Ray and Jewan Kirkland, ofMonticello; his granddaughters, Rebecca Diane and Lucy Marie Smith,of Monticello; and a host of nieces and nephews.
