Edith Rae Smith Allred

Edith Rae Smith Allred, 85, died June 16, 2013 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb. She was born on Aug. 26, 1927 in Lincoln County to the late Victor E. Smith and Clara Watts Smith.

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene for 44 years, where she served in the nursery department (which was her love). She also served as treasurer and missionary director. She loved her church and the work she did for the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steve Allred; sister, Eva Nell Britt; and brothers, Hollis Smith, Shelby “Chuck” Smith and Jack Smith
