BOGUE CHITTO – Bogue Chitto linebacker Scotty Brown has been anintegral part of the Bobcats’ defense. Making a comeback from ACLsurgery, Brown accounted for 12 tackles in BC’s triumph over theSalem Wildcats.

For his accomplishments, Brown has been named the DAILY LEADER’S Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth week of the 2007football season.

“I’m real proud of of it,” said Brown, referring to therecognition. “It’s a big honor down here.”

As a junior, Brown was selected The DL’s Co-Defensive Player ofthe Year on the 2006 All-Lincoln County Football Team. He led alltacklers with 156 stops.

Brown (5-11, 190) is playing weakside linebacker for theBobcats. Also at linebacker for the Bobcats are Austin Jones atstrong side and Fred Tillman and Cole Laird in the middle.
