Services for Jean Moffitt Raiford, of Ruth, are 10 a.m., Monday,July 18 at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in ShadyGrove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Raiford, 67, died July 15, 2005, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center. She was born in New Orleans on Nov. 27,1937, to Charles B. Moffitt and Susie Williams Moffitt.

She retired from Life of Georgia of Metairie, La. She was amember of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and a sister, Alder W.Alford.

Survivors are her husband of 37 years, James E. Raiford, ofRuth; her daughter and son-in-law, Melinda Raiford and RobertBlaise, of Pensacola, Fla.; her brother and sister-in-law, James W.and Rose Moffitt, of River Ridge, La.; her sister andbrother-in-law, Shirley M. and William Hannen, of Ruth; and hergrandchildren, Bobby, Kaylie and Chelsea Blaise.
