Services for Jerry Strahan, 52, of DeSoto, Texas, were 11 a.m.on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Eubank Funeral Chapel with the Rev.Dan Tarno officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Homein Canton, Texas.

Burial was in Haven of Memories in Canton.

He passed away May 27, 2011, in Dallas, Texas. He was born Oct. 29,1958, in Columbus, Ga., to Homer Ray and Vera Mae FosterStrahan.

Jerry grew up as the son of a military man, moving all over thecountry. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Jerryalso enjoyed hunting and watching the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors are his wife, Sheryl Strahan, of DeSoto; his daughter,Michelle and Kevin Timmons, of Little Elm, Texas; hisgranddaughter, Abby Timmons; his mother, Vera Mae Strahan, ofBrookhaven; his sister, Judy Rushing and Glen Jones, of Brookhaven;his brother, James Strahan, of Brookhaven; his brother-in-law,Ronnie and Tina Cleaver, of Canton; his father-in-law, Joe Cleaver,of Canton; and his nephew, L.J. Cleaver, of Canton.

He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Ray Strahan; and hismother-in-law, Barbara Cleaver.

Pallbearers were Kevin Timmons, L.J. Cleaver, Tom Beam, RonnieCleaver, Tony Phillips and Trey Phillips.
