In observance of Independence Day, The Daily Leader will publish a July 4 morning newspaper.

     However, the newspaper’s business office will be closed Thursday, July 4, for the holiday.

     The following other offices also will be closed on July 4 only: Bude, Meadville and Wesson city offices. 

     The Brookhaven Post Office will be closed all day July 4 and will close Friday at noon.

     In addition, the following offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5: Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce; Mississippi Highway Patrol; Brookhaven and Monticello city offices; all county offices for Copiah, Franklin, Lawrence and Lincoln counties; and Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

     Waste Management and Waste Pro will follow their normal garbage pickup schedule throughout the week.
