Funeral services for Christine Davis White of Monticello are 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Monday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. White, 81, died Aug. 16, 2013 at Lawrence County Nursing Center. She was born in Mississippi on June 22, 1932 to Plummer Davis and Ida Hall Davis.

She was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Richard White; parents; son, Richard White Jr.; brothers, Troy, Buddy, Tom and Jack Davis; and sister, Pauline Holly.

Survivors are her daughters, Wanda Langille and husband, Bobby, Martha Hall Ferguson and husband, Hugh, and Peggy Schmidt and husband, Steven, all of Monticello; 13 grandchildren, Jennifer Jones Brown of Brookhaven, Julie Robison and husband, Chad, of McComb, Amy White of St. Paul, Minn., Sarah and Rebecca White of State College, Pa., Justin Hall and wife, Tawyna, of Wesson, Debi Dunaway and husband, Brad, of Monticello, Brad Gatlin, and Lance Gatlin and wife, Autumn, of Brookhaven; and six great-grandchildren.
