Carrie Mae Clark

Services for Carrie Mae Clark, of DeSoto, Texas, formerly ofUnion Church, are 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at Mt. Moriah M.B.Church in Union Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 5 p.m. at Williams Mortuarywith family present from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m.

Mrs. Clark, 73, died April 27, 2009, at her residence in DeSoto.She was born in Wyatt, Mo., on April 25, 1936, to George Emersonand Carrie Pollard Emerson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Moriah M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, JessieT. Clark.

Survivors are her sons, Larry Clark and wife, Ella, of Atlanta,Ga., and Jessie Clark and wife, Ruby, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.,Aron Clark and wife, Donna, of San Diego, Calif., Anthony Clark, ofFayette, and Ricky Clark and wife, Helen, of DeSoto; her daughters,Shirley James and husband, Mando, of Louisville, Ky., and DianeBuie and husband, Perry, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; her brothers,George Emerson and Merle Emerson, both of Chicago, Ill.; a sister,Ruby Bankhead, of St. Louis, Mo.; her 17 grandchildren; and herfive great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.

Kevin A. Humphrey

Services for Kevin A. Humphrey, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Sunday, May 3, at Alexander Junior High School auditorium inBrookhaven with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Kenneth I. RobersonFuneral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 2 until 6 p.m. at R.E. Tyler FuneralHome in Brookhaven with family present from 5 until 6 p.m.

Mr. Humphrey, 23, died April 28, 2009, as a result of anautomobile accident in Brookhaven. He was born in Brookhaven onJune 28, 1985, to Gloria Humphrey and Kevin B. Collins.

He worked for V-Tech Inc. Utility Construction.

Preceding him in death were his great-grandparents, George andBessie Collins and Willie and Josie Humphrey; and his grandfathers,John Davis and Daniel Nelson.

Survivors are his sons, Trevion Humphrey and Aidan Humphrey,both of Brookhaven; his mother and stepfather, Gloria and JamesHumphrey, of Brookhaven; his father, Kevin B. Collins, ofBrookhaven; his grandmothers, Ada Robinson and FlorenceCollins-Davis, both of Brookhaven; his sisters, Kearra Collins,Kerra Collins and Amanda Benjamin, all of Brookhaven; and hisbrothers, Kelcy Humphrey and Austin Collins Jackson, ofBrookhaven.

Mildred Inez Robinett Smith

Services for Mildred Inez Robinett Smith, of Wesson, are 11 a.m.Saturday, May 2, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Sweetwater Cemetery in Copiah County.

Visitation is Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Smith, 84, died April 29, 2009, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter in Brookhaven. He was born on March 29, 1925, to John E.Robinett and Rosa Milner Robinett.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sweetwater UnitedMethodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of the EasternStar and Copiah County Homemakers Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents, John E. and Rosa MilnerRobinett; her sisters, Thelma Speairs, Pauline Sims, Rosa MaeHarris; and her brothers, Oscar Robinett and Edward Robinett.

Survivors are her husband, Virgil E. Smith, of Wesson; DorothyGiles, of Alacuna, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Sweetwater United MethodistCemetery Fund.
