Funeral services for Frances W. Covington,of Wesson, are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service, with burial in Heucks Retreat Baptist ChurchCemetery in Brookhaven.

    Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Covington, 71, died Dec. 20, 2011, at her home. She was bornon May 15, 1940, to George Elmo and Susie Gibson Cowart.

    She was a homemaker and a member of Heucks Retreat BaptistChurch.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; and first husband, WillieT. Ward.

    Survivors are her husband, Ralph Covington; sons, Ralph CovingtonJr. and wife, Mary, and Bobby Covington and wife, Kelly; daughters,Barbara Moak and husband, Joel, Mary Sue DeVorss and husband, John,and Patsy Nations and husband, Wade; brother, Thomas Cowart, ofConnecticut; and 11 grandchildren, Dara, Jaime, Colt, Chase, Lee,Olivia and husband, Ryan, Kaitlin, Jedd, Amber, Charles andSarah.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heucks Retreat WMUor Care Ministry or Missions Organizations.
